INFANTS TO
SCHOOL AGE

Our educators understand the importance of building a solid foundation for learning and that children learn best in an environment that is safe and built on trust. In our infant classroom, we strive to work closely with our families to assist in setting routines and structures that will aid in developing a love for learning. With infants growing at a rapid rate, our educators monitor and watch their physical, motor, and sensory capacities to strengthen their learning. It is important that we follow care routines, as well as, begin to monitor and develop milestones for each child. Our educators monitor each child’s development using Florida’s Early Development Standards.

Children in our toddler classroom are checking off milestones at a rapid rate. In this age group, we focus on teaching a vast variety of milestones for children to explore and develop their skills. We strive to build each child’s love for learning by allowing them to explore their classroom environment with a hands-on learning approach. Our educators teach children math, literacy, science, reading, writing, and social skills through role modeling and active play.

Children learn best through doing activities that they enjoy. In our Early Preschool classroom, our classroom environment is designed in a way to help develop a child’s love for learning by teaching them while they play and explore. Our educators track children’s developmental milestones and monitor their learning by using Florida’s Early Developmental standards. These standards help our teachers ensure each child is getting a well-rounded foundation of learning by exploring new math, language, literacy, science, social studies, art, and social skills.

Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a free program offered to all Florida families no matter their family income. Our program helps prepare children for success in kindergarten and future grade levels. We strive to ensure children are developing a foundation for school by teaching and educating them in an environment built on trust and safety. Children will learn and develop skills in math, reading, literacy, science, social studies, language, social development,, and more! Children are eligible for this program if they are Florida residents and 4 years old before September 1st of the current school year.

We offer wrap-around care for children who are participating in our VPK program, allowing them an opportunity to continue learning outside of their approved VPK hours. Our wrap-around care continues developing a child’s learning using the Florida Early Development standards as a monitoring tool.

Summer is a time for children to have fun and enjoy a break off from school. Our summer programs empower children to do just that! We offer children engaging learning and recreational experiences allowing them to kick back, relax and continue learning in a fun way when they are not in school. Children have been in school all day and need a place where they can enjoy time with their friends, finish up homework, relax and still explore the world around them. In our school-age program we offer children an environment where they can interact with their peers, decompress from their day and finish up any school-work they have. Our program is designed to meet the needs of each individual child and support them in learning and development.
